After touring for 9 years with his band, Juan Gonzalez decided to take a year off to rest and spend time with his family. After being home for a month he decided to start a recording studio and a music production company, JAG Music Productions. He produced local bands for a short period of time but the company took another route. In 2000, Juan was providing sound services for some local promoters. In 2002 & 2003 JAG began hiring other sound companies to cover some of his shows, because he only had one system. By 2004 he was ready to buy a concert sound system to keep up with the high demand of his clientele. A friend recommended that he should buy a sound system from Steve Emler at Okie Brothers Sound. Steve convinced him not to buy a system but rather to rent from them, allowing him access to their entire inventory for a small fee. JAG accepted the offer and instead bought lighting and staging equipment. Over the years he acquired more equipment and clientele, turning his once small business into a thriving corporation. Today JAG Sound Producions, LLC is one of the most sought after companies that provides the latest state of the art equipment; sound systems, ground supports systems, robotic lighting systems, stages and generators in the Central Valley as well as the entire West Coast.
